My business is entirely built on word of mouth and personal recommendations, so networking is a fundamental part of my marketing strategy. WMB has played a huge role within this - the vibrant community, the support and the encouragement are all invaluable. And the opportunity to work key referral partners that I’ve been introduced to through the Creatives Power Group has been incredible. They really have transformed my business - I love our meetings, the collaborations that happen and then seeing the wonderful the results that we create together!

I joined Women Mean Biz almost 3 years ago and it has been a wholly positive experience. The network is such a friendly and inspiring environment and I have built confidence in speaking about my business and grown my business and leadership skills. I have also made genuine friendships. I'm a solopreneur working from home and the monthly lunch meetings give me connection, inspiration and support, while the workshops have broadened and deepened my skills in business. I have met many talented women, some of whom I have worked with to receive massage, personal training, animal communication, web design and more, as well as improve my skills in public speaking and marketing. I love connecting people, it's one of my gifts, so I feel in exactly the right place in this network of women uplifting each other. I knew I wanted to join WMB after the first online meeting I attended, I loved the set up of the meeting and the ability to get 1:1 time with a couple of new people. Everyone was so welcoming and there was a lovely warm vibe, it felt like a place I wanted to be instantly. I soon joined the in person Bristol group and again have found such wonderful supportive people who I love being around. It also generated most of my client base, which is exactly the result I hoped for!

I’ve built some beautiful connections and friendships here in WMB Bath for which I’m immensely grateful, especially as a foreigner. I’ve also found a few key service providers who are now supporting me, and I hope to continue growing with them on my business journey. The group has been invaluable to me in many ways, helping me find both community and practical support. Over the past few years, I’ve gone through a major transformation in my career and have been focused on finding my footing here in the UK. It’s been a stretch at times, and I haven’t yet had the chance to put all my marketing materials in place. However, I’ve met some wonderful women in business and I plan to work with them in the next year which I’m very excited about. The Bath group is really special and I know I will be back soon! At times I feel that WMB is a special corner that I want to reserve just for myself, but the world needs nurturing, thus I have to let you have my words. Please spread the word!
