I’ve been a WMB member since 2017 and in the North Somerset group since 2022. It’s a really vibrant group, friendly, supportive and the meetings leave you feeling really energised and positive.

The energy when you walk into this room of amazing women is incredible! The support, relationship building and collaborations happen way beyond the group meetings. It’s fantastic!

I’ve been a member of Women Mean Biz for 10 years, and it’s one of the most supportive and genuinely helpful networks I’ve ever been part of. It’s become far more than a networking group - it’s my team. Whenever I’m facing a challenge, there’s always someone who’s been there before and can offer wise, practical advice. The generosity in this community is incredible – people freely share their expertise because they truly believe we rise by lifting others. Running a business can be isolating, so having a space where people really get it has been invaluable. Yes, I’ve had brilliant referrals, but it’s the encouragement, authenticity and integrity of the group that keep me here year after year. After a decade as a member, joining WMB remains one of my best business decisions.

Being part of WMB has been such a positive experience. From my very first meeting, I felt genuinely welcomed and supported. It’s incredibly inspiring to be surrounded by so many talented, ambitious, and kind women who are always willing to encourage one another. WMB has given me not only valuable connections but also the confidence and motivation to keep growing, both personally and professionally. Every event leaves me feeling more inspired than the last. I’m truly grateful to be part of such a warm, empowering, and uplifting community. Thank you for creating a space where women can connect, learn, and thrive together.

I’ve been in a few different networking groups over the 20 years I’ve been running my own business and Women Mean Business is the best. The Bath group has a wonderful energy due to the leaders and other members and I’ve used several members within the network to help support my own business such as photographers, graphic designers and more. I recommend coming as a visitor and seeing what you think.

I have found the online network meetings a real lifeline for my business. 

Being a solo parent during the week and being self-employed means that time is extremely precious, so being able to participate in networking without being disadvantaged is invaluable.  I have been able to meet other professionals who live and work a fair distance away, which in person would have been extremely difficult to do. 

The online networking experience has been extremely beneficial in terms of timings, accessibility, inclusion, and providing opportunities that I don't think I would have got with another in person network.
