What I appreciate most about the Women Means Business ethos and Philippa's guidance is how natural it makes networking feel. With meetings held online 3 times per month, it’s easy to build genuine connection with other members. It's not about forced interactions; it's about finding ways to help each other, building trust and growing our businesses too.

I’ve been in a few different networking groups over the 20 years I’ve been running my own business and Women Mean Business is the best. The Bath group has a wonderful energy due to the leaders and other members and I’ve used several members within the network to help support my own business such as photographers, graphic designers and more. WMB has played a huge role within this - the vibrant community, the support and the encouragement are all invaluable. I joined Women Mean Biz almost 3 years ago and it has been a wholly positive experience. The network is such a friendly and inspiring environment and I have built confidence in speaking about my business and grown my business and leadership skills. I have also made genuine friendships. I'm a solopreneur working from home and the monthly lunch meetings give me connection, inspiration and support, while the workshops have broadened and deepened my skills in business. I have met many talented women, some of whom I have worked with to receive massage, personal training, animal communication, web design and more, as well as improve my skills in public speaking and marketing. I love connecting people, it's one of my gifts, so I feel in exactly the right place in this network of women uplifting each other.
