In Person Meetings in North Somerset

I found WMB early in my journey as a business owner - I knew I needed to get myself out there! I'd tried other business networks but found them too corporate for me. WMB was a breath of fresh air, structured enough to showcase your business and informal enough to really get to know your fellow business women. WMB has given me the confidence to get out there and talk about my business, my group makes me feel supported and inspired!

I really look forward to our monthly lunches & enjoy seeing the same faces, as well as new ones, each month. I work for myself, on my own at home so these ladies are the colleagues I no longer have. Even though I haven’t been in the group for that long, it’s such a warm, welcoming & supportive space, I feel like I’ve been a part of it for years already.

I was a member of Women Mean Biz for about a year between 2016-2017 but had to leave due to illness. I re-joined the Cheltenham group in May 2023 and I was so happy to be back (and to see several familiar faces from my earlier membership!). Women Mean Biz is about supporting each other, learning together, and growing friendships along with growing our businesses. I’ve met some of my closest business friends through Women Mean Biz and I’m so glad to have them in my world for when those inevitable bumps in the road come along! I’d recommend WMB to anyone looking for a more collaborative approach to networking.

Business made enjoyable is fun, we are a lovely group with no competition, judgment or pressure just encouragement and support for fellow friends supplying a service just like you.

I’ve been in a few different networking groups over the 20 years I’ve been running my own business and Women Mean Business is the best. The Bath group has a wonderful energy due to the leaders and other members and I’ve used several members within the network to help support my own business such as photographers, graphic designers and more. I recommend coming as a visitor and seeing what you think.

I knew I wanted to join WMB after the first online meeting I attended, I loved the set up of the meeting and the ability to get 1:1 time with a couple of new people. Everyone was so welcoming and there was a lovely warm vibe, it felt like a place I wanted to be instantly. I soon joined the in person Bristol group and again have found such wonderful supportive people who I love being around. It also generated most of my client base, which is exactly the result I hoped for!
