In Person Meetings in Bath

I have been a member of Women Mean Biz since March 2018 and I joined the same week as my business was launched. From the very first meeting I felt welcomed and like I was already part of the community. I was so nervous as I am very introverted but everyone at the meeting helped to put me at ease and I left knowing that this was the network for me! I also had a sense of pride that I had stepped out of my comfort zone! Now the majority of my work comes from Women Mean Biz and I am so grateful to have also benefited from the support of members in many other ways and made some wonderful friends along the way!

I’ve built some beautiful connections and friendships here in WMB Bath for which I’m immensely grateful, especially as a foreigner. I’ve also found a few key service providers who are now supporting me, and I hope to continue growing with them on my business journey. The group has been invaluable to me in many ways, helping me find both community and practical support. Over the past few years, I’ve gone through a major transformation in my career and have been focused on finding my footing here in the UK. It’s been a stretch at times, and I haven’t yet had the chance to put all my marketing materials in place. However, I’ve met some wonderful women in business and I plan to work with them in the next year which I’m very excited about. The Bath group is really special and I know I will be back soon! At times I feel that WMB is a special corner that I want to reserve just for myself, but the world needs nurturing, thus I have to let you have my words. Please spread the word!

I love welcoming people to our networking meeting in Bristol. We build great connections, and do business over a delicious lunch and when everyone leaves smiling, I'm happy.

I’ve been a member of Women Mean Biz for 10 years, and it’s one of the most supportive and genuinely helpful networks I’ve ever been part of. It’s become far more than a networking group - it’s my team. Whenever I’m facing a challenge, there’s always someone who’s been there before and can offer wise, practical advice. The generosity in this community is incredible – people freely share their expertise because they truly believe we rise by lifting others. Running a business can be isolating, so having a space where people really get it has been invaluable. Yes, I’ve had brilliant referrals, but it’s the encouragement, authenticity and integrity of the group that keep me here year after year. After a decade as a member, joining WMB remains one of my best business decisions.

The energy when you walk into this room of amazing women is incredible! The support, relationship building and collaborations happen way beyond the group meetings. It’s fantastic!

I really enjoy being part of the Bath group. Our members are so welcoming, caring and supportive, after every meeting I feel energised. The Bath group and the whole network has played a huge part in the success of my business today and I can't imagine not being part of it.
